The Beautiful Outdoors
Being out in nature can be a very peaceful, and life-restoring experience. Most of my nature paintings have zoomed in to take a closer look at specific flowers. Now I want to highlight beautiful places, and give you a feeling of actually being there. My paintings are very detailed, because to me, the details are an important part of the overall effect. The different kinds of leaves on the vegetation, for example. You have to slow down, instead of rush through, to notice the details. When you slow down to appreciate, you let the tension of everyday life evaporate, even if just for a short time.
