I made this drawing from photos I took of some lady's slippers I found in the Canadian wilderness. It was my first in the series, and probably my favorite because it is rich in textures, one of the things I love to draw. The drawing itself is black and white, but when I used Adobe Photoshop to combine it with the sunrise, I also used the program to add color to the flower.
